My 55

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
my ctenopoma were shy until I got more... then they decide to fight with each other out in the open.

the dominant one never hides... the other 3 hide when he gets fussy lol.

I have mine in an open tank as well too. not really anywher eto hide except behind driftwood (and they prefer plants, especially floating IMO) and they adjusted quickly

good lucky growing it out... the dominant one grew quickly... the others are moving sloooooooooooooowly

Is that it for your stock? I think it is perfect the way you have it.

thank you!! Although I think I'm going to get a Raphael catfish for cleanup jut to keep things tidy, and they're cool but that will be all (most likely) lol

The knife and shark hide a lot so they're not in the pictures.

Honestly, the Raph cat will do what your Knife and Shark do. You have enough scavengers in the tank. I'm not sure you "need" a cat, as much as you would like a cat. I'm doing my best to try to give you more options though as I don't think a Raph is what you are looking for. Maybe a Four Lined cat or a Pictus? Much more active than the Raph. Or check out Planetcatfish.com you can actually search catfish by size. Maybe that will open your options? Good luck with what ever you do. This tank reminds me SOOOO much of my first tank!

Thanks, I'll look on planetcatfish lol
