my 5gal nano invert tank: journal.

after my neighbor gave me these two crabs (theyre actually rare in the hobby... who'da thunk it?), i figured id give them a real home, and so their tank was set up. over time i plan to add live rock, change the lighting, and maybe get more inverts.
hell, i might try some corals if i can get a good enough light!
So, without further adieu, here are the pics as of days 1(4/19/2010) through 3(4/21/2010), going in chronological order:

i really need live rock soon though... it looks like these crabs enjoy algae and im gonna need live rock to give them substantial algae.

Dont tell me you just set it up and are adding crabs already. Also put them in while the alt was just dissolved.

If you saw my other threads... The crabs were given to my without warning that morning in a ziplock bag. I had no choice. That cloudiness is from the sand, i waited for the salt to appear dissolved before i added the crabs.

Looks great! Id get some nice liverock and a few frags in there and put in a pair of percular clownfish!!! Maybe a fuzzylionfish lol.

Ya not in that smalll of a tank but there r some other sweet choices

maybe some zoanthids when i can get a better light... just looking at a screw-in daylight CFL right now. liverock is definitely going in there within a couple weeks.
