  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I like it :D cant wait to see it once you have added live rock and I really hope you add some corals but that just me :D

niice

I was @ my LFS yesterday getting some stuff and they had a tank full of those hermits so I asked the owner about them. He said they are caribbean
and common in the trade. He also said that they are not reef safe and will eat anything and then fed them some krill that they destroyed in front of me. So you might want to rethink the frags.

will do, thanks. guess ill just go with live rock and maybe some other inverts.

You'll do fine! Hermits in general are very hardy and rather opportunistic. Try a variety of food items.

I've kept yellow shore crabs (not hermits) from the beach here and they mostly ate the brown algae, but I'd see them eating seaweed, little amphipods and other odds and ends, too.

i wanted to get some small species of shore crabs to mix with them but i doubt its a good idea seeing as im in new england and these are from florida....

Cool. Been wanting to do something like that. Got tired of my big tank so I got rid of it. Nano is the way to go!

nano is always fun to do, it makes you look at everything much more closely.
