Wow! looking nice and chunky and BEEFY :) My largest of the 6 is the darkest, the more yellow ones are my 2 smallest ones.

I've started feeding 1x time a day, to try and maintain water quality. I noticed right after feeding the tank smells FISHY, but not before, not sure if its the food itself or the fish, but I do a 90% WC after the feeding, to also vac up any left over food.

90% a day wow! I only do 1-2 50% changes a week to keep my Nitrates below -20ppm and I feed mine 2-3 times a day massivore. 5 of 6 are currently in a 90g w/ a flag tail and a mutt cichla. What are you feeding yours??

Great news my other rio yucao orino as of tonight started eating jumbo carni sticks broken in half. My other one has been massivore pellets for a few days already!!!!!!

Yes Rio Yucaos here also, mine have been on Hikari sinking carnivore since day-1. They were on 1/4 chunk pellets, then 1/2 chunks, now there on full pellets.

Still to small to make the change to massivore.

Hey bassguy, what kind of filter setup are you using on the 90-gallon-tank? Maybe I need to clean my canisters more often?, I really hate taking them apart. I feed 1-large feeding a day in the morning, then do a 90% water change to vac any un-eaten food from the bare bottom.

During the change my tank really is stinky, I mean when you walk into the bedroom during the change you can smell it.

I know 6 bass in a 90G is a lot, but there still only around the 5-6 inch range, with 2 large Eheim 2078's I would think the BARE tank would be less stinky. I feel I HAVE to do the 90% change daily otherwise the water quality would go down the tubes.

Maybe bass are just more stinky? I'm still running my temps around 87-88.
