I started out with 6 at about 2.5 inches These are the most aggressive Bass I have owned. Very easy to convert to Massivore and will eat about anything I throw in.

I have 10 that started out at 2.5 inches and a couple months later they range from 3-5 inches. They are very aggressive. They like to chew on goldfish that are too large to eat and when there are no goldfish they chew on each other. They will eat anything, even flakes. The goldfish weren't meant for food, but were meant to eat all the bass' leftovers.

IMO, I would put the breeding pair of cons in a 20gal to produce more fry/feeders. They grow rather fast and breed once a month or so. Unlimited supply of feeders. That's what I would do.

As for your tanks.... I really like the 180gal. Nice and clean. Well done.

with mine the eggs hatch once every two weeks..when one female lays eggs the male go's to the other female..so theres always eggs hatching in the tank..i cant add anymore tanks at the moment..redoing the fish room..makin space for more tanks..these guyana ocells will be going into a 135g asoon as they reach about 4''..

Sounds like a plan. I had 2x10gal for just the con fry. Had them with sponge filters and fed them crushed flakes.

You're fairly new to MFK and to cichla, But Damn.....The bug hit you hard core.

Can't wait to see you all set up for dem monstars.

the ocell around 1:48 has an oddball pattern i like. better keep that one alive i wanna see how he turns out

That 4 bar is awesome....to bad its not symmetrical. You've got a 135 as well? Man I need to get a garage soon.
