As you know I did a write up on building my 600 gallon... --> NEW MONSTER : Another Monster Journey : Setting Up Monster 600 Gallon, i will keep my words to a minimum as i was being warned that if i post anything they will sent their lawyer come after me... they erk me so much i wont say their name...

I bought my first monster tank back in 2001, a 180 gallon made by XXXXXX. it was a fabulous tank craftsmanship was top notch. after 8 years i decided to go for another monster tank by the same manufacture and here comes my nightmare...

first 600 gallon tank issues... before fish in... these were minor issues... i was too happy to setup the tank... so it didnt bother me during that time...

you see these slots back of the tank? i never order these slots... they end-up sent me cover for them

the bulkhead holes were a little bit too big...

1st 600 gallon after 10 month.... the trouble begin...

here is the problem

i email to the sales manager with no respond... so i email him with a dummy email...

some progression pix...

at first they say the tank has no issue... but they would replace the tank.. but i need to pay for the shipping of the new tank.... i took the deal because my tank is going to explode very soon...

so i start building my Weekend 600 Gallon Pond Build .....

my #2 600gallon... some issues...

they chip bulkhead inside the tank... since the bulkhead cover the chip... i didnt mind that much

lid issues #1 , they suppose to use the cutout to make a flushed lid... instead they use a .25"
lids3.jpg

Lid issues #2... there is no way for me to open this lid.... where the handles????
lids.jpg

so i call the sales manger up about my tank #2 issues... he told me he will not make me another set of lids.. if i want some handles sent the lids back... and he hanged up....

i endup using these as my handles

so far my #2 tank has no issues (i think)... i fixed tank #1 will be setup outdoor next year...

Ouch. Big investment. Similar to buying a lemon of a car. There are laws against lemon cars, too bad it doesnt cover tanks.

Unreal. Even more unreal is the lawsuit thread. One less scumbag business for the world to deal with.

Bet they'll just open under a different name.

You know I can relate, my friend. I'm glad they're out of business. Bunch of douche bags, and that's the triple truth.
