My 600 Gallon Tank Issues

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
that's the lamest advice I ever heard of ....Now we should be afraid because a POS company that went out of business threatens with a lawyer ? There are at least 20 threads on this forum about how bad they suck.

I know and that's my point ....Do we fear even the dead this days? LOL ...Not to mention all these "expert" legal counseling when is no longer relevant.
I also remember when both of us mentioned on different threads how bad their costumer service was and people accused us of being negative/ bashing the company. It's funny to see now, how the same people are singing a different tune.
You can only talk tough, because you're just an average Joe with nothing to lose. Noone bother to drag you to court, because it's a waste of time and money. However, if you have a business to run, it's going to be a different story. Your lawyer/legal cousel will advise you otherwise...

Not everyone is fish royalty like the mighty guyen74 .....Once again, since this manufacturer doesn't exist anymore, it's all just talk.
The bottom line is that unfortunately Neo can't benefit anymore from the manufacturer warranty that supposed to cover his purchase and that's a shame. Advising someone to "just let it go" in this case doesn't seem right either.

I actually noticed in the build thread he didn't use one of their aquarium stands, so I guess he was lucky he got them to replace it the first time. I think their terms and conditions stated you had to use their stand to not void the warranty didn't it?

LOL^^^^^

Overall, this is scary and i hope i dont have to go through this crap

I can't agree more....That's why IMO negative feedback is just as important. Luckily for me, I was able to read all the horror stories here on MFK before choosing a manufacturer for my new tank.

If I had a tank and the seams was about to fail... I won't know what to do. You just can't go out and buy replacement tank. Lucky everything worked out.

Exactly, thats what i'm currently doing, pretty much narrowed it down to midwest customs, plus i'm in MN so i guess it makes sense

can't believe they were running a company with such shady practices... if it were me, i'd really be kicking up a stink, and possibly lawyer up too, especially if they threatened me with one first... heck i even know a few top lawyers over here who would have been able to give them hell...
