LOL. if it was my tank, i would forget what all those pipes were for and i'd probably flood everything!!

When I first set the tank up, I did flood my garage badly once. Think 4'wide x 6'tall wall of water running at a gallon per second. I've got it all figured out now. Most of the time, you just don't touch anything. We will have it so that there is one pump, with one input, and the rest will be overflow. It will keep it much more simple, and shouldn't be too bad to deal with. It's just going to be a lot of pvc pipes.

Always a classic thread to breeze through-

Thank you for posting this, wonderful setup and yes the tank over the car made me laugh, long and hard. fortunately the boss did not come over to investigate.

This tank is beautiful! Some of us can only dream of ever getting a tank that big, you're a very lucky girl and I'm sure your other half is just as happy about it :D

Planning on putting any other fishies into the tank?

Glad you enjoy it. It was a lot of work to put together. However, I have to say, its so nice to be able to just pull it up and show someone something without digging through the (45?) pages of the other thread.

Thanks! Fortunately, we've moved and left that car there to continue rusting. :)

I think I'm happier about it than the other half. He enjoys it a lot, but I'm the insane fish nut.

This tank is maxed out. These cats grow SO SO SOOO fast, that I'm just praying I can get the next upgrade done in time.

Wow that is great setup how long did it take to run all the plumbing? and how old is the clownknife and tsc?

Plumbing as you see it there was mostly designed when we bought it. We still had to make several changes to it when we brought it home to make it work for us. Since we have moved, it is yet again getting redone, and having an autowater change system added to it as well as plumbing all the tanks into one system. This all takes time and planning.

I don't know how old the CK is. I bought her when she was older. She hasn't grown much which makes me think that who ever had her before stuffed her in a little tank and stunted her. She's still a great fish though. (I say all this, but haven't measured her and compare her only to freakily fast growing catfish so maybe she's just normal:grinno:).

The tsc? I assume you meant tsn? The big cats are all now about 2 years old now ranging from 26" to around 31-32". The biggest cat is the larger TSN and she measured 30.5" in May. So, I figure she's got to be another couple inches or so now ... These photos are more than 6 months old. Everyone has grown. As soon as I'm done with a little bit more of the plumbing changes, a new thread with new photos will go up.

Don't know. Don't want to know.

Okay, I'll do this. Yep. Several thousand. That's as much as I'm willing to think about it. I should add that my 5 year wedding anniversary is tomorrow. What are we doing for our anniversary? WE'RE GOING TO THE AQUARIUM & POND EXPO! :headbang2Because this is our hobby together, we end up giving gifts of fish stuff, and this is what happens.:naughty:
