My 60g planted peaceful community tank (low-tech planted)

Sweetness! Im digging that Black Angel bro. How the heck do you keep your plants alge free? I have to take mine out every here and there to clean the ugly Alge (even w/a Turbo Twist)
 
I have an xp3 filtering the tank, and the spraybar is on the left pointing over the whole tank, it gives good circulation, so maybe that helps.

Plus, I have a lot of plants, and feed lightly, so not much nutrients left over for algae.

I also have the lights cut down to 10hrs a day.
 
Maybe it's a lack of plants. I have no co2, lights on for 3hrs a day on a 50gl corner tank filtered by a X3... Oh well Lol
 
Royal farlowellas are EXCELLENT algae eaters and they won't eat plants. After trying those I'll never get another BN pleco again!

Seriously, it's probably the best algae eater for a large planted tank.

hahaha no problem.

Eric, check out A plus aquarium in Rosemead, they specialize in planted tanks and Dan can really help you out with questions, etc...

also Tongs in FV, they have a lot of different plants.
