My 7000 l. pond!!

Hey guys,

some pictures of my pond.

It's 7000 liter, with lots of plants and no filter. It currently houses 15 LEUCISCUS IDUS ( ha ha)

Hope y'all like it!

Because it cost some blood, sweat and tears to make.

Now that is a cool pond. The Orfe are cool. Are you planning on putting anything predatory in there? Who's the water filler? LOL

My sistha is fillin' it up.

I want to stock it with large fish, but as you probably can see on the left side of this post, I live in the Netherlands.
So it summers max. 29 C. and winters probably - 5/10 C. And that's not even the water temp., that's probably somewhere in the middel.

So I will keep it with the current inhabitants, but they will grow till 40 cm. That would be a pretty cool sight. 15 40cm long carrots SWIMMING !

Well you can always put Northern Pike in there. I know Northern Pike is also in the UK so they might be easy to get. You can also keep Wels catfish.

A northen pike would be called a "snoek" here, and it is possible but then my other fish have to grow a bit more.

I don't like the look and the size of the catfish.

Btw it´s approx 10 x 10 x 4 ft., and in the first pic you can see my old pond witch was bascaly a learning pond.
