The lighting and shadows are weird but this is dry and smooth epoxy after the finished result.
I decided to use the black on the outside too just because I didn't like the wood look on the outside and black on the inside. I felt it looked much better all black. Especially with the cinder block stand.

Next was filtration. I bought a 100 Gallon water tank and am using that as a sump, and I went with a bean animal overflow for the drain. I built a trickle system out of milk crates and plastic egg crate to pull out debris and for biological filtration. The filtration runs about 3500 gallons through the sump in an hour.
