Thanks guys. It is a xp3 filter and the sand is just white play sand that I got at Home Depot 3.99 for a 40lb bag.

Thanks for the compliments guys. The GT is about 6" or so.
It will definately be awesome when I can get them into a bigger home. Some grew a bit faster than I first expected.
