yah everything is good for now, i will be adding alot more rocks probly another 30-45lbs and i got my snowflake eel last night about 10 inches hes great. also what do you think i can add in the middle column of the sump

Will do, he found his spot already and comes out to move around at different times. They are awesome next thing is feeding which he hasn't ate yet but I'll give another day or so

Fish dont like taking things off of skewers in my experience.

You could try dropping it right in front of his nose. This way they have fewer inhibitions about taking the food.

Its hard to drop it in front of his nose cause the water flow blows the food in the other direction, or could i use some tongs like i saw one youtube with this one guys snowflake just took it right out of them. just picked up a curb alert on Craigslist of 2 2x4x2 tanks for free, they need to be re siliconed. Next project to be done soon. may even make that my pred tank but they are short in length. I was thinking of making some kind of odd ball tank with all the peices when i strip all the silicone off. and man shipping takes forever with aquatrade fleshy, i ordered the 1st of dec and they placed it the 6th WOW then shipped from sanfrancisco and arriving the 13th. Thats a long wait for me. so eager.

I sometimes have the same problem when feeding my shrimp. I just have to turn off the power heads during feeding

Yea...aquatraders suck...but you sure can set up an aquarium for cheap with their lights.

By oddball tank, do you mean taking both tanks and making one? A corner sort of L shaped tank might be neat...and possibly doable...you would need to order the bottom custom made from a glass shop, and it wouldnt be cheap, but it sure would be sweet.

I'm not sure yet but I can picture it In my head, yah the L would look sick as hell, i wouldn't have anywhere to put it like how alot of ppl do it in their kitchens an living room. If I do that I'll Just wait till I have my own place
