with the new rocks i am trying to for a more natural rift lake look. most of the pictures i have seen of rift lake bottoms are large smooth rocks. it will look different in a few months when it gets some algae growth.

i got the rocks at a local stone yard. $0.15 a pound. compared that to $2-3 a pound at the local fish store, lol.

ya i pick up 127 pounds of tennesse round rock for my 125 hap/peacock tank and spend a total 37 bucks compared to 150+ at the lfs
