My 80g tank, Check it out!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
100% understand, but your red belly piranha is captive breed. It's kinda like saying I need an environment similar to africa....though I've never been there just because my family is from there? Your rhom is a whole nother story. ambush predators will make do and adapt with any type of cover though

Truth is it's our personal and visual preference. I hate clown puke color gravel but I don't think my fish would care. still hate it with a passion though but fall in love with planted piranha tanks like Harleyk and artty

Only reason why I ordered those dw, is that it looked so sexy and I don't live near a lame/river like f1 who can get HUGE yet free dw ;P! And I'm so tired of dw at lfs that looks like 1 shi**y piece of log. Had too many of those. Manzman's dw were outstanding and definitely has quality. Btw I invested oh so much money just for the project. No more now! Maybe just a few more plants but other than that money is only going to food. Frankly tho, I did spend a lot on the dw but it is definitely worth it.

Plus I know ballinoutofcontrol was just bustin' my balls ^.^ but damn I can see my natts are really enjoying the features and hiding spots! Local petcos all didn't carry black water extract and looked clueless when I asked... O.o?! I will it when I go back to la to my reliable lfs there.

Yo f1, I have black sand right now. Is that good enough?

@ballin, although they may be captive fishes, animals are going always have their animal instinct. You can take an animal out of the wild but can't take the wild out of it. Just like a the ghetto and you know what! J/P!!! It was a joke, please do not get offended!

But I totally respect you opinion, I wish since they were captives that they won't be so damn skiddish.. ^^

@ballin, plus dw may cost some money but planting a entire tank isn't free. I bet it will cost more than some measley driftwoods. I guess it's always the owners and his or her preference.

Actually it can be breed out of them.....look at wild cats for example

We're all big boys and will do what we wanna do so no point of debating. Let's just share our experiences and have fun.

Thanks for the pics

True that bro. I guess if the wild can be tamed most definitely! No never will argue with you bro, u know ur stuff just wanted to busted ur balls right back ^^ hehe. Btw ur welcome. I'm going to post bettrer pics with my digicam as well as track the progress of nls pellets from 1 month to 6 month. Can't wait !

Feel free to argue. Constructive conversation can come from it

I know you're partially just giving me crap

Ps, do longer then 6 months on your feed trial. I can guarantee your biggest will be 6 inches with the rest near 4-5 inches. Just natural progression as they mature
