Questions
1. Can you identify as many fish as possible for me? KK Parrot, Yellow Tail Acei(s), Electric Blue Ahli(s), Several Melanochromis Auratus, Sciaenochromis Fryeri Albino(s), Melanochromis Chipokae, Metriaclima Callainos, OB Peacock(s), Pseudotropheus Socolofi "Snow White" and the rest I cannot identify (need closeups)
2. Does the tank look overstocked or fine? Looks fine, except maybe get rid of the pleco and get some smaller bottom dwellers
2. Can I fit some form of tall sump under one of the undertank cupboards to replace the Eheim? Probably
3. Is the 11" pleco too big for the tank? He does seem to be pretty messy. If so, what would be a good school of bottom dwellers to get on with the others? He does seem to be too big for the tank and if you're thinking about getting rid of him, you could try some pimelodella catfish or any synodontis catfish (synodontis petricola's get along great I've heard!)
4. What snails would be good to keep the algae at bay or anything else worthwhile? Not sure because I've never kept snails with africans, sorry
I'm after a 'marine look' tank without the hefty maintenance, what else could I add to liven it up a bit? A powerhead or two would be great! They provide important water circulation and oxygenation and african cichlids seem to love it! & the more your tank water is circulated and filtered, the better the water quality is in your aquarium.
Thanks in advance
