Hi ALL,

I am not 100% sure ... but I only noticed the split tail with bleeding on the tail and right side of the eye only (left eye is ok) day before he dealth and this only happen ever since the last 2 days I turn the light off.

However I am 100% sure he have been attacked by other fish day before he pass away because he have never has broken tail before. Anyone have any idea? Could it be the SDS or bateria infection? My other fishes still totaly healthy.

How often do you feed goldfishes? Maybe that could be the problem?

Every few days i feed some gold fish.. but I have no choice some of the dats will only eat live feeder fish instead of pellets or market prawns for example my 18"inch ST will nvr want to eat other food other then feeder fish. I have try given him super worm, live criket, pellets, frog, market prawn but he will not even smell on it. Damn !!

Sucks to hear about a large one go.

This might be too harsh atm but the eat or die method always works for me.

If you can get your ST to eat dead feeders (frozen, thawed), eventually it will prawn and then pellets.

Hi 888fish,

May I ask have you try to convert the tiger fish from live food to pellet or
market prawn? Maybe you have try to convert them when they are young but have you try to convert then when they are already 18" inch? Is this still possible to convert them to pellet or market prawn. I have try a few time to throw market prawn or pellets in but he since not interested at all.
Any better idea? Can the eat or die matter effective on an 18" inch tiger? Thanks.
