My 9" VATF

What does he eat?
might not be a vittatus,............ body looks longer and slimmer, points of tail are rounded instead of pointy, transparent tail, small head, eyes are big in proportion to the head. may be a brevis or forskalii. but i'm not an expert.
at 9" it seems like it still has characteristics of ones at 3-5" when it shouldn't. look at my thread and see if you see differences in the details i listed above. but mine's 12",.......... but you can look at Xander's thread and check out his 5" vatf too.

Aren't forskallis the ones with a majority of their fins yellow?
are brevis a cross between goliaths and vitattus?
my VATF's fins are more or less red, bit of yellow hue, bottom of tailfin darker red than rest. Even the top half of the body is a rosey red color. The other fins have spec of orangish red on the tips. dorsal is all clear

When I was looking at the picture the tail really jumps out as being different.
Here's a pic of my 10" Vit for comparison.
Forskalli and Vittatus are the same species.
There is nothing wrong with it not being a Vit at all. It's nice to have something different.
