My 90 gallon tank - compatabiliy, please help!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
the pacu is the only problem i see. 300 would be fine, if the pacu was alone. anything smaller than that and you will stunt its growth and it will be cramped as hell. adding any large fish with it and you need more space. pacu and bgk should be fine together, i keep goldfish with my pacu and they dont bother them at all, peaceful giants, so long as there fed plenty they shouldnt eat meat.

Thanks! I am excited to see my Pacu grow up in my near future new tank.

Update: I have 1 Kigoma Frontosa, 2 angelfish, 1 blood parrot, 1 BGK, 1 palmas bichir, 3 lace catfish, 1 upside down catfish, and two turquoise rainbowfish in my 90 gallon tank.

The tank looks very bare and I don't know what fish to add to liven up the tank and make it more interesting.

I was thinking more peaceful south american cichlids / dwarf cichlids.
I'm afraid the central/ north american cichlids would be too aggressive...I don't like what I call 'filler fish' like most Cyprinids and Characins.

I feel like all of the cool fish are all too aggressive or HUGE and require like 300+ gallons.....
