My 900 gallon 4 tank system will start being built next week.

Decking all cut an in place:


Foam cut and in place as well: (Edge of pink foam will be covered with Black duct tape prior to seeting the tanks down)


Main 2" supply line set and attached to wall ready for final plumbing:

Flex PVC, pumps, and ball valves are all on order and should be here by next weekend and I can then complete all of the plumbing prior to the tanks delivery (Which is still several weeks away).

Hey this is a purely aesthetic suggestion. When its all complete why not take some lumber and attach it to the metal stand and then cut drywall to fit the openings for the tanks and finish it off with some simple framework. Since it wouldnt be supporting anything it should be accomplished easily. Either way it's gonna be a sweet setup. That is a massive Protein Skimmer, Good luck!

That's a great idea.. I had also thought about doing something like at the public aquariums and making faux rock pillars and stuff and using magnets to attatch them to the metal stand. We'll have to see how adventureous I feel after it's done.

Finished the rest of the plumbing (As much as I can with out the tanks in place) few more weeks until they get here. I can't wait.

Yeh, make a facade. I going to put one on my 5000g concrete tank. I'm going to frame it like a window, with a sill and molding.
