surpisingly well now. After chomping my ace in half, no other issues. Everybody seems to have found their niche. The dats and dorado and atf don't take any crap from the aba.. .they will nip him or "push" him away. they don't back down. he leaves them alone now.
The aba like to mess with my mbu's tail... but the mbu does not seem too concerend, and no damage / problem.
He ignores the catfish, endlicheri, etc. My clown / royal knives are big and mean, they don't take any gried at all from the Aba. he will pester, they fight back. Oddly, my sheatfish, which is real docile, seems to be completely ignored by the aba
I have a pink tail chalceus, and some Brycon dentex that I think may eventually be doomed to be aba food.... everybody else seems to hold their own fine, no bullying.
Rather surprised. Even my BGK seems to have made peace with the aba. A little harrassment, but nothing major. I figure eventually, that may end in tragedy, but for now, the BGK has a safe hiding place as needed and seems to be no real problem.
BUT BUT BUT.... the aba does make m real nervous with my fingers. He is NOT afraid of my hand. He is curious and comes up to my arm hand rather threatingly. Not bitten yet, but I think he will. I am being extra careful now. He attacked my python tube over the weekend.
He is an extremely curious fish, so anything in there, he snoops around it and explores.
