My AC 30 Is having trouble

until it starts on its own

really...i know that clearly i am not a noob lol. i know how to run a filter. there is just something wrong wit this...could be the actual propeller. i d k its fixed now for whatever reason..(maybe cuz i plugged it in)

maybe a crack in the seam of the pick-up tube...plug one end and blow through the other if it leaks you'll see where...Aquarium silicone will fix it...

i have one that does that from time to time and i just never bother with it and it goes away and comes back, do you have it sitting level, that one of the reasons they give you the leveling thing on the bottom of the pump

ok weird...all of a sudden its working...its been like this for 3 or 4 months...the day i make a post about it it suddenly works. wtf

you might want to pull the tube and impeller out and service it...it only takes a little bit of crap in there to foul you up...while you are at it check for cracks in stuff...
