So far this one has been the most stubborn African Aro I've had. Still on worms.

My past African Aros ate pellets,krills,mealworms,small pieces of frozen food. I just completely stopped feeding them blackworms. Those African Aro were really thin though when I got them so didn't take long for them to eat new food. This one has been spoiled since small hahaha. Struggle is real.

It's been 6 months. Can't tell if it's gotten any longer. But definitely fattening up again.

I gave in. Been feeding it blackworms every day. Going to wait til it gets bigger before I'll try getting it off the worm.

3/24/18. For sure about 13"-14" now. Still on blackworms for now. I want it to grow to a bigger size before starving it again.

It'ss at least 14" by now. I'm judging its size based on some of the bichirs I've measured in the tank. Been about 8 months with this little guy.
