my african bullfrog

males have yellow throats and females have milky throats,,have you keeped any other type of frog??
 
this is my first frog so i am lacking on information about how to keep him but he seems fine at the moment!!! Only had him 2 days!!
if you have any good tips they will be much appreciated!!

those frogs are awsome. we have them at work. they grow so fast. i have to run completely out before i do a new order because i made the mistake of putting 6 small ones in with a bigger one and he ate them all over night
 
i think the main thing i would say is hygiene,as soon as you see poop clean it out, my pyxies fav food is giant mealworms, when they are small feed them on crickets and make sure you dust them with a good calcium powder to avoid mbd,,oh and gut load the crickets befor feeding them to your frog
 
yh i got the calcium stuff and just feeding him mealworms!! he seems very quiet and dosn't move alot but i suppose thats because hes in new surroundings!! thanks for the advice though much appriciated!! think i may try the pinkys soon now you said that lol!!

yep there not to active,, i have had many frogs but the pyxie is by far my fav,,btw dont feed to many pinkys he may become obese,one a week at that size is plenty,the growth rate is mind blowing:WHOA:

how can u tell the difference coz ive seen ones like that that are big
