I see what you mean, my male looks more like the bottom one but with more orange in his dorsal fin

I like the large hap tank. I want to turn my malawi mix to a large hap similar to yours. I pretty much will have the same fish, except for a buccochromis nototaenia which i want to be my King. Bought a lot of them as fry now so i have a while to go! I really like the setup man!
