My angels- good and bad news =/

well they havent been like that before, this is the first time i separated them from the eggs to try and get them to hatch artificially. other than that, they ate the eggs by the second day, and the eggs dont get fungus on them that fast. well some do but it takes a while before most of them die. so maybe once they started picking off the dead eggs they just ate all of them, but who knows.. maybe next time. ill keep a closer eye on them.
I've noticed that with my pair the better I feed them the better there spawns are. For instance, I have been feeding TetraMin and the pair has been having horrible spawns, I just switched over to NUTRAFIN Max becuase I have tried that in the past with great results. Also Bloodworms, they LOVE them! So maybe they are eating the eggs because they are the best source of protien in there environment...
yea, i usually give them a mix of bloodworms and flake food, and of coarse the bloodworms are the first to go lol.
good news, just after the new year my angels had another spawning. this time though its been successful ( so far ). the fry are free swiming now and if i get a few good shots ill post them up in another thread =)
another update, successful spawn this time, although alot of the fry died, there are still a decent amount left, and i have separated the parents from the fry =)
The last batch, the male got to them before i did. and now i have a second pair of angels to hope for succesful batched from.
