My Arapaima Farm tell me what you think

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I just skimmed over the 100 or more posts here and have a few quick comments. (I'll go back and read all of it later when I have time.)

You mentioned shipping into the State. I really hope you have all the required CITES permits to do so, otherwise you are supporting the fish blackmarket and we don't really like that here.

Also, I hope something came up clarifying that arapaima and arowana to not cross breed at all.

Finally, You called it a 'farm', but then mentioned they are wild caught and just being held there. Which is it?

Thanks.

:iagree: i'm with zoodiver on this one... it dont quite add up, maybe some info was lost across the language barrier but please do clear up the points that zoodiver made!

John, those pima's colours are amazing!

you have to sort out the pix posting..they come side by side ( as opposed to one on top of the other ) which makes it difficult to see them...

I never said poachers. But if you are shipping into the US with out paperwork, or across ANY national border for that matter, it is highly illegal. Which means blackmarket.

All I'm saying is that you need to make sure you supply the proper CITES permits for each animal as it heads across a national border.

Zoodiver, he never said they did not take care of the paperwork..why pursue the venue of the "blackmarket"?
