Thanks Zoodiver, Matt for your concern, protecting the forum, as well as helping with conservation and preservation efforts. Glad your experience is present here.

John (ApistogrammaMaster) is working toward the same goal I am when it comes to South American fish. His efforts in Peru are working right along side I am doing. Without guys like him working in the far reaches of the jungle, I wouldn't be doing what I am doing here in the US - bringing his world to yours.

Glad you guys came to that conclusion. Good to have a pair of ]v[onster conservationists on the board.

Hello, guys.

First of all, sorry I'm a little hard to reach, lately. I don't have full time internet access while in Iquitos.

But I'm still taking the time to post this video, of the manatees we're taking care of. Compared to how thin and injured they were, just weeks ago... I'm just happy to see them doing well.

And in case I haven't posted this yet, this is from not long ago, when a team of experts visited us, and gave them a thorough checkup.

More later. Take care!

Apistogramma -keep up the great work you are doing with the manatees and the arapaimas and other fish you may be breeding. I saw a national geographic article about the amazon and yeah, it is being destroyed daily (thousands of acres per day) and I'm glad you are doing your best to help.

Perhaps you can farm mekong catfish (pangasius gigas), piraiba catfish, nile perch, and wels catfish :headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2

Those are cool do you ever get like bittin in the feet when ur in there like that? Those are great though.
