Sorry for your loss..Silvers aren't that agressive as people think this is a perfect example of that being punked by bala's...I could only guess that your fish died of stress or something related to that...
 
Damm sad to hear this.

One thing to not is not to put the leaves in your canister. they obstruct proper flow of water in the canister. Just place them tied together into your tank and remove after a few days else it starts to rot. :)
 
I am so sorry, that's how I lost mine, just in 1 day he crashed. It sucks. I know it hurts bad, gotta get back in the saddle. I'm still looking really hard for another. Sometimes you can't blame yourself, things just go wrong for no known reason. I guess it sounds like it's happened to most of us.
