MY aro have brain damage?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
No offense but I really think you need to stop with the brain damage and memory loss theories and focus on what the problem actually is - a fish that sustained a physical injury and is now recuperating. :)

I am not ignorant to the obvious condition of the fish, he is making marginal progress back to his old self:). Its just peculiar that with all this odd behavior and the obvious severity of the injury that he didn't die from it all.... Thankfully he didn't;)

Theorizing is one of the sole purposes of these forums, perhaps someone who has an Aro in similar condition will find this thread and reconcile in the possibilities to the nature of their fish's injury.

Only time will tell

He's doing much better since my return. Even gets excited a little bit when I approach the tank, but still more skittish then he was before his injury... but I'm sure that will go away with time!

I'm very happy hes recovering, with my luck they usually don't.

See, hes almost fully recovered. Even gets excited like he use to when I approach the tank. :D

Sorry using an iPhone to view this thread, missing flash.
How does it get excited?
Does it rub it's mouth on the glass or plexi-glass?
