My 1.5 grade red stopped eating martket prawns with pellets in about 7 weeks ago. I've treid everything from pellets, feeders to worms and we have finally settled on a few small freeze dried prawns every day or so. It's gone for three weeks or more without touching any food.
My 14 inch Jardnini has eaten (to my knowledge but I don;t watch it 24/7) two feeder fish in 8 weeks. He lives in my pond with other fish and shows now sign of being unhappy. It's quite amazing how long they can go for without eating with no obvious ill effect.
If your lucky your fish migt come back on pawns, but be prepared to do some experimenting if he doesn;t.
