Thanks everyone!! Is it just me or do Black Aros not grow that fast? I used to have a Jardini (got too nasty so I traded him in for the Black) that I could almost see him grow. Same with the Silvers we get at work, every time I turn around it seems, they are noticeably bigger.

Ya mine is a definite slow grower. Got it in mid March at 11" now is a tad bit over 14". So maybe 3-3.5" in 6-7 months.

Wow, your black aro sounds a lot more aggressive than most other blackies I've heard of. Must be a real character in the tank. Very nice coloration on the fins and body.
