I feel your pain, had a beautiful platinum butterfly koi do the same to me. I wouldnt get outta the hobby though take that passion and plan another tank.

You should have known better considering the history of these fish jumping.
As an Aro owner, it is your responsibility to make sure the top is fully covered and secure.
