Sweet setup man. Love that aro! Let me ask you, do you have any issues with your crayfish and your plecos? Been wanting to get a cray like that but have been nervous about him getting along with a couple plecos, cat, and fire eel. Thanks.

My crayfish is about 6" and my plecos are about 4". No problems among them. If you want to keep a crayfish, make sure you have plenty of hiding places for it. It is most vunerable during molting and it will need to place to remove its old shell and let the new one harden.
However, I am not so sure if your fire eel will live in harmony with a crayfish.

not really if you keep the deco low ... in addition, my tank is at the corner of the living room and my arowana is very accustomed to see people walking around or watching tv. My son would stand in front of the tank and sometimes tap the glass. Anyway, all the fishes know when there is tapping, its feeding time

Should be sufficient for another year ... will transfer it to the pond once it reaches 18 inches.
