My arowana is always hiding

The older it gets, and realization that threats are few should help.
I live in Panama and keep my tanks outside on the patio, when even something as small as a grackle passes overhead casting a shadow, my adult cichlids dash for cover, of course they are only about 7" long.

Large barbs or silver dollars are typically used for arowanas.

100% from my experiences. But they grow fast!

Yea extremely fast ? goes from 3” to 13” in 2 months.

Once had a 4" Silver Arowana and once it got to the 14" mark it would look for me to feed it something. ?
