I guess it is all the survival of the fittest...being higher up in the food chain..they do have better recovery rate and able to withstand harsher environment...

anyway..good fish! cannot wait till it gets into its monster size!

:naughty:

niceee, when i got mine they werent bang'd up , not that i wanted to. yours look totally different then mine, maybe its just the eye color, nice RED. how is it with 1 atf? my atfs are pretty fun watching.

ur atf has some nice yellow in the fin. i got one thats has the yellow and then it goes red. ill post a pic some time. it seams the more shrimp i feed the more red they get. must be getting it from the shrimp

live or dried shrimp?

dried is what i feed but im sure both will do fine. there like a pink red color

Wow  That's a quick and nice recovery. Great looking fish. Wish I had the room or could afford one of them.

I think the coloration of the yellow/red tail is a factor of either the mood that it's in or water condition. Reason being is that I recently had an 10+" ATF that had more of a yellow hint to it. Specially the tail. I traded him to a LFS who has a show tank and when I was their recently he was totally differen't in coloration. His tail was blood shot RED. It's never colored up on me like that ??? Not one time he was in my possesion ?

i guess he didnt like u jk
