That's really sad man! Back when I was like 13 when snake heads where legal here in the us I had a giant sh about a foot and a half long jump out while I wasn't home. I found him dried up and hard... I threw him back into the tank (since I had heard they could last really long out of water...) s/he sank to the bottom like a rock but with in minutes s/he shook him/her self off and shed it's slime coat and was fine fore years... Maybe you over med'ed... I don't know, different type of sh though... Sorry for your loss! but at least you guys can keep them in the uk

im sorry for you.... a have 8 3 are 2 years old about 40 cm and now they are ill (bakterial infection,worms,parasites the skin is all white...etc.. and 2 of them are already dead so i know how bad you feel.....
