Id love to get another one, but would have to get a whole new tank. My Puffer would kill it quick and my crayfish Im sure would do the same

Nice pics, i have 2 severums and was just wondering on what would make good tank mates for them. They are only about 3 inches big now...

Yea, Ziggy likes to hide and is quick enough to get away from her. It's usually only around feeding time that she tries to nip at him.

Thank you. Well, this is the first severum I've ever had. She loved my german blue rams. I would assume they are good with most cichlids, mainly that get to be the same size as them. I have her in a 40 breeder right now with my 4" bichir, 3 1/2" pleco, and x3 3" giant danios. She's pretty shy, and after my rams died she would never come out unless to feed. That's the only reason why I got the danios. Sort of dither/target fish. Since they are constantly moving she felt more comfortable. Every fish is different tho. They might only get a long with other severums, they might not get along with them at all. I guess it depends on the space you have for them, how many hiding spots etc. Mine is about 5" now. I will definitely need a much bigger tank for her in the future. My friend Leah (Leahisawesome is her username on here) got me into fish keeping and has had tons of severums over the years. You could ask her, I know she had hers with the rays she used to have. You might even want to post something in the cichlids forum about it, there are thousands of people on here. But everyone's opinion's vary.

some dwarf cichlids, there was one that was really really mean to everyone else, but the ex gf got em. Im sure they are dead now cause she never did take care of the tank
