Nope. It'll kill your armatus.
Rapps seems to have the familiar mangrove snappers that come from a fw locality.
Familiar?..The only one he has listed is griseus-the grey snapper.There is no mangrove snapper on his list.

just make sure you get a big tank for them. 6x2x2 imo is too small they need something wide had to end up putting the one at work in a 1500L tub. issue is he started growing again. these fish can get huge and like space to swim.
