My Baby Red belly's

Once they outgrow there current tank yes i will house them probably in a 4foot tank eventually

right now its 24" x12h x 18w (strange shape tank) i have a 3foot tank sat outside doing nothing also right now but they dont need the room just yet so i can wait
 
how big can red belly piranha's get? they look cool i didn't notice they where piranhas until you said =]

PS whats gallon of tank you need too house a full size red belly piranha?
 
Where did u get ur babies? we would like 5 to 10 if you could send us some info i would really appreciate it Thanx!!

largest in captive red i've seen was 10".. and thats a bit big.. i've kept until 8" personally.

im not about to do the math on that for the gallons.. but it sounds like they"ll be ok for a couple of months. but i would get them in the bigger tank right away.. its easier to move them while they are small and will undergow less stress and it will get them to be less skittish and used to there new tank. remember adult P's need 20 gallons each. and they like to swim alot, the more space the better. good luck!
