Not the best pictures by any means but he/she is just so dang skittish. The day I got him home, I went to my feeder tank which had 4 dozen rosies I just bought for him that day from the same lfs and they were ALL dead. So I said the heck with it and threw in some Hikari Bio gold Pellets and sure enough he ate them. Stupid lfs owner said there is no way he will take non-live food this young.

Ordered him a jug of arowana sticks and a 2.2 lb bag of hikari food sticks today to see which one he prefers.

If he takes both, feed him both. Nice high protein diet will really keep him happy.

Nothing, a bare sand bottom 65 grow out tank with fake plants for him to hide in.

Don't feed feeders. I heard feeders can cause them to develop drop eyes. Feed food sticks, freeze dried krills, crickets, or worms. Get them off feeders, it'll be easier for you in the long run.

Lol, he doesn't eat feeders now, only a staple diet of market shrimp and cichlid pellets till his aro sticks come in the mail.
