I have been buying this for a decade, lately five 44 lb bags every 2 months. http://www.zeiglerfeed.com/finfish/freshwater/silver/

Beware that experts, for whom I have utmost respect, like RD. wouldn't feed this to their fish even if it were free.

To me, it's been a compromise. I'm always searching for something better but less expensive than NLS and Hickari.

BTW, for every 100 lbs of the Ziegler pellets I feed a few pounds of NLS and Hickari too. But that's all I can afford at the moment. 50% of my fish's diet is baitfish which I catch myself in the ocean. So that's kind of free, except my time, effort, and casting nets.

Well that is completely understandable and smart of you since you do have a 4500 gallon tank plus more hahaha thanks for the advice.

I only hope I helped. We have ~50,000 gal of tanks and sump volume and a thousand fish to feed. More than half of the Zeigler pellets go to ~200-300 motley crew piglets aka koi. But if we open our DIY Public Aquarium for business and are wildly successful, I will switch to NLS and Hikari without reservations and in a heartbeat.

You really do help. I have read alot of threads that you have from the past. Especially when it comes to catfish. I'm always looking for more advice and better techniques to make my own. MFK made me a better fish keeper all together. N hoping to become as good and knowledgeable as you and other top MFK in the future. Thanks. I hope the business goes well for you and your team.
