It's a RTG. Your tank's white background is causing the fish to look paler than normal. Change it to a dark tone or black and see the change in colouration.

Thanks..background is actually green and unfortunatley is perminant ;-(
change of colouration to what..better or worse..
this tank by the way has no special Arowana lights on to enhance the colour..use to be in a tank with no background and still this same colour...
Black back ground would look quite cool but would have to be put on from the inside..
