My bass and tanks.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'll have a big update coming in the next couple weeks, but, here is what's going on in my cichla world.
As of right now I do not own a single bass! :( it's really sad. My gf have been talking a lot recently about selling our house and we thought it would be a lot easier to sell without having a giant fish tank taking up over half of our guest bedroom. So I was forced to sell all of my bass as I had no where temporary for them until I bought my 180 to set up.
Tomorrow I am going to get my 180 gallon and the madness starts all over. I will be building my first ever sump, and next weekend I will be ordering more bass to grow out.
As far as bass that are on the market, I don't know what I want to go with. I really like Xingu and thought about just ordering 4 2" ones from Fish Heav3n ( def getting one) but I don't know what else I want. I really like Broko, Azul, and Kels. Any input on what you all think would be great, in the end it's my decision and I will get what I want, but would love input. I will update my progress of my new tank on this thread and whatever bass I decide to buy.

That sounds like a great plan.

Thanks man. Plans just changed again as I am now getting a 265 gallon 7x2x30. Guy sold the 180 today but found the 265 for $200

New tank, stand in place. Couldn't move the tank in yet, me and my buddy could only manage to get it on the porch. But here us my temporary fish room, 75 gallon being temporary to grow out my Xingu.ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1390271207.274669.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1390271214.507791.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1390271222.324356.jpg

Good luck man. I was reading through your post and was just about to ask you why not go more than 180g if you are setting up new. And two posts later you've already going 265g. Much better choice. Good luck. Looking forward to see it up and running.
