thats correct, but i had the heater on, tank covered, and drained some of it to have less water to heat, it got in the high 30s to low 40s it was rough
Well that tank is too small for a Largemouth Bass. Maybe you could keep a small Cichla in it, like a Kelberi (heh) but I would not keep both. And usually Smallmouth Bass are the coldwater, and Largemouth Bass, which are found from New England to Mexico, are more versetile. But I'd say no Cichla.
fhawk, you need at least 250 USABLE gallons(i.e. 300g tank) to keep more then just one LMB, especially if its for any length of time. Plus, you want more cichla. They(LMB's) are a highly territorial predator and can become very aggressive just like cichla. I feel bad for the fish you keep/kept....
