The pics are posted on several other forums along with the story behind them.
These were "RESCUE FISH"!!
A friend helps a friend of his out in a shop. The owner of the TSN grew it out to it's current size in a (believe it or not) 55 galon tank!!
According to the shop, the TSN has been brought back from near death numerous times dur to a variety of health problems no doubt due to it being in a 55 gallon tank!!
The O. niger was grown to it's current size (by a different owner) in a 75 gallon tank.
Both owners asked the shop to find homes for these beasts as they could not care for them any longer.
My buddy knowing I was into cats called me and as luck would have it I had a spare tank empty.
They are in a 180 at present, but have plans for larger digs for them. They are both around 22-23" so the 180 is adequate for the moment...........certainly a lot better than a 55 or 75 gallon that's fer sure.

just so you know the pics of your cats got me intrested in looking for cats...and i know my lfs has pangasuis and african glass cats but i know nothing about those and if there even worth my time to raise....but thanks for inspiration...

I have always liked big cats, but until I sold of my fish business I never really had the time to give them.
I have a smaller TSN (about 14") and a marble sailfin (about 14") that I am growing out.
May decide to sell the smaller TSN as I don't need two of them!!
