better careful with transportation and packing bro. once i was at a thai cuisine restaurant and i came across a 2' wild caught 7 band specimen. that fish was caught by hook and it was recovering from injuries (based on the injuries on it's mouth and body). the owner of the restaurant was reluctant to sell when i offer him. finally he agreed on RM300 and i was so happy. but my happiness was short lived as when after he was scooped the fish with a steel frame net the fish overturned immediately while going halfway into the plastic bag !! damn !! i was so sad..the owner gave me back my money. never ever scoop it. drained the tank about 1/4 then slowly put the plastic bag in and slowly lead the fish into the bag.
I don't know what spec is it..but their size are huge..i have seen about 2.5 feet length..full body coloration and their eyes and head looks like channa striata..but in marulioides spec..for your information..i lived in kelantan and that river is close to your country..thailand is it? ever heard of Kelantan Oleoleole?
