Yep one more false advertising or maybe it was a misprint ?
Still a good looking fish . Where do you think it originated from a pond ? ok probally maybe who knows?! But do you think its equadorian or peruvian ? Im curious ...
My comment was not directed towards the ops fish as he stated that it was bought earlier this year, whereas shark aquarium just posted an updated list. And frankly I dont give two ****s whether they're from Peru or Ecuador, what irritated me Is the improper labeling just to make sales.imo it Looks like an example of someone who doesn't care or know enough about the fish and just slaps a name and location on a fish to sell them lol I couod be wrong and I'm sure now that after I have brought this to light that there will be some excuse to how it was a misprint or whatever
and no the names, labels doesn't have anything to do with how any fish will or does look. And regardless of how it looks online it In a store, if whoever bought it cant take proper care of it then it will look dull, unhealthy, sad, and suicidal lol

Ok no wrong taken about the fish.... I just dont get when someone has anything posted about festae on this site u always got something negative to say.... I know u got a name for ur festae n i have seen then they r nice looking but seriously i take care of my fish n if they r not wild they are just as beautiful..... They were labeled as wild but after talking wit george he said "that he cant be sure that just what the vendor told him" it also was to separate batches in one tank...
This pair is gorgeous no matter if wild or not....

First off, i dont always have something negative to say about festae everytime their posted. in this thread i pointed out what they were labled as. As most people dont read the fine print, they automatically jump to conclusions. kinda like the festae Rapps is selling. I dont know how many times ive heard from different people recently about how hes selling f1 festae. And time again i felt the need to help them become aware that at those times, there isnt anywhere on his site claiming them to f1 or that the pics of the parental pair are actually the parents of the fry in the pics. so im just saying. And there are alot of festae out there that should not have made it in to the hobby. SO excuse me for my opinion and for speaking the truth. And at the end of the day whether someones festae are ugly, pretty, or whatever, as long as the owner is happy who cares. the only reason i have voiced my opinion is because people come out with threads like "what does everyone think of my festae?" or "is my festae quality?" or "Look!!! I have the best festae
" And yes, i have just as much right to praise my festae and show them off because i have spent years!! searching for what i would call "perfect specimans" or as close to it as i can get. I also have paid a great deal of time and money into my pairs. And i am more than happy to have finally found quality. I have not once said that mine were the best or better than anyone else's. its very easy for anyone to assume that because of the amount of threads and posts i have made. I am just happy and proud of what i have and i make it known.
I also never said that what you had were or were not wild or that they werent nice. Its really hard for me to sit here and get on every festae thread and say that they are all nice, when in fact there are some that are not!!!! i choose not to say anything when i come across festae that i have nothing nice to say about. So all in all, i havent said anything negative about anyones festae. The only thing that would be negative would be my tone when im discussing certain facts. And i am confused as to why you said your pair is as beautiful, wild or not? how does being f0, f1, f100 have anything to do with a fish's beauty? Beauty is in the Genes and at the mercy of the hobbiest
I am interested in how your festae turns out as i am with the rest of the ones George sold along with the ones Rapps is selling. I might even be inclined in picking some up from them. SO i apologize for this thread going in the wrong direction.Believe me im the last one to start anything but im honestly confused on this river and i did some googling and seems it runs thru both countries so is it possiable ? And im wanting to know not start problems or a debate so please no one take it wrong

No harm done i just dont know y people get so serious about the label on a fish.... I m just glad that they r turning out the way they r.... Hopefully they last long for me and i can enjoy them for awhile.....
