How many 1 inch dats are in a pound?
 
A 1" dat will be 1" in a year. Dang slow growers!...LOL...J/K :)
 
if anyone else wants to answer that question, i too would like to know how big should a dat be after a year.

and levi, how do you keep all them live blackworms alive? every time i get even just a "portion", i only feed so much b4 the rest of it is dead and stinks.

When I get blackworms I put them in a rubbermaid that is drilled 3/4 of the way up. I keep it in the basement (where it's cool) and set a 1/2 gph drip on them to keep them alive.
 
That little guy really is perfect!
