it was ONE bad experience, so you might want to give it another try later. they're great fish and i find them to be low maintenance.

Sorry for the loss, i would have said try it again but the blood parrot... probibly not going to work.
I had a senegal bichir that killed a few fish just for the hell of it, but if it was the perpetrator you could have easily identified that.
Fish just die sometimes. There's always a cause, but often it's just bad luck. Try again. (Unless your tank is now fully stocked with that blood parrot.)

i did everything right and there was no mark on him. My friend at one LFS said that too.
When I called the LFS that I had gotten him from, they would take him back but when I go there it was one thing after another. Could he have choked on a feed, maybe my PH was off, Maybe he got suck in his cave, maybe something got him? No that was not it.
He went suddenly almost like a heart attack of something. He wasn't touch or even gnawed on. He had just eaten a couple hours earlier.
As for tank size. I ahve a 75G tank. Everything in there is only 3 inches. Two Sens, a Blood parrot, a Striped Raphael and a few Silver Dollars. I have ordered a Delhezi and I will be getting him Fri.

Yeah at first they promised to replace him with a blood parrot last night and then this morning would not. I hate places like that.
